WAS AWESOME. Friendships that strong being caved out in like.. 3months? Not possible in most cases I reckon. But it's the movies, and movies like to mindfuck you in all sorts of ways. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME. I LOVED IT.

When Carter was in the ICU, his immediate family kept close vigil and were extremely close. Which reminded me about something I was thinking about in camp a few days ago. I commented that malay families in comparison to chinese ones, tend to be closer-knit. My malay friend replied;

"It's not the family. It's the community."

And yes, I really agree with what he said.
